Our story
Zehra Aksu founded FLUX in 2013 in an old timber house with a garden in Moda. Our first project was a small house in Bodrum drawn without felling a single olive tree; since then we have begun every project by spending a day on site.
We see organic architecture not as a style but as a way of listening. Form is born from slope, wind and light; material comes from the site itself wherever possible.
Today, with four partners and a team of twelve, we have completed 86 projects, from homes to a library, from a hotel to a tower.

Our principles
Listen first
Every project begins with a day on site; the first line comes from there.
No trees felled
We route the building between the trees; so far we have preserved 3,400.
Local materials
Earth, stone, timber and lime; breathable materials from nearby.
Design by measuring
We measure daylight, energy and water decisions with simulation from day one.
