A residence inspired by a bird nest: a woven timber shell wrapping a rounded volume offers a sheltered, warm home.
The house is a rounded volume set against the steppe wind. It is wrapped in 14 kilometres of pine lath woven by hand.
The woven shell filters the sun, creating patterns of light that change through the day.
